Mr. Tarik Rahić, Director of the Public Procurement Agency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, was born on 23th. September, 1975. He finished primary and secondary school in Sarajevo.

Mr. Tarik Rahić graduated in 2003 at the Faculty of Law, University of Sarajevo and obtained the title of Law Graduate. In 2010, he obtained the academic degree Master of Laws - Public Procurement, at the Faculty of Law, University of Sarajevo, by defending his master's thesis entitled "Legal protection in Public Procurement Procedures with special reference to the Law of Bosnia and Herzegovina." Mr. Rahić obtained PhD - Public Procurement at the Faculty of Law, Džemal Bijedić University in Mostar, in 2013, by defending his doctoral dissertation entitled "Development of the Public Procurement System in Bosnia and Herzegovina in the Context of International Trade Agreements"

In his professional career so far, Mr. Tarik Rahić has worked for over 15 years in various organizations, both in practical/operational and managerial jobs in the field of public procurement in all phases of the process (planning and preparation of public procurement, implementation of public procurement procedures, conclusion and execution of public procurement contracts).

Mr. Tarik Rahić is an assistant professor at the University of Sarajevo - Administrative and Legal Field.

He is an authorized lecturer /trainer of the Public Procurement Agency of Bosnia and Herzegovina in the field of public procurement.

Mr. Tarik Rahić has passed the bar examination.

He is a participant in numerous international and domestic projects in the field of improvement and development of the public procurement system.

Mr. Tarik Rahić is the author /co-author of 8 (eight) scientific books and monographs in the field of public procurement. He is the author /co-author of 15 (fifteen) published scientific papers in the field of public procurement in indexed journals that follow the relevant international database.

Mr. Tarik Rahić has participated as a lecturer /moderator in a large number of seminars, congresses, symposia and conferences in the field of public procurement.

Mr. Tarik Rahić speaks and writes English well. He is married and the father of one child.
